What Kind of Telemedicine Technology Do You Use?
Alliance TeleCare utilizes the latest telemedicine technology to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our TeleMedicine carts are equipped with high-definition cameras, virtual stethoscopes, 12-lead EKGs, tympanic thermometers, pulse oximeters, and a 24″ screen, along with up to 15 additional accessories if needed. All equipment is provided at no cost; all you need is basic Wi-Fi and a telephone line.

How Does Alliance TeleCare Work in Our SNF/LTACH?
If a patient experiences an acute medical change during a nocturnal shift, our providers are on call to provide real-time treatment. Working with your nursing staff, we evaluate the patient, order labs and tests, and develop a treatment plan. Our nocturnal providers remain available throughout the shift until the patient is handed off to your daytime in-house physician or one of our daytime virtual providers, ensuring seamless communication of the care plan.

When providing daily APC supervision, our providers directly oversee your nurse practitioners or physician assistants during examinations, rounds, and treatment planning. The APC and doctor communicate daily, coordinating care, ordering tests, conducting family meetings, and more—all at a significantly reduced cost compared to in-house providers.

What Types of Clinical Issues Can Alliance TeleCare Manage Virtually?
Our virtual providers can manage acutely ill patients with complex medical histories, just as an in-house doctor would. We can order necessary labs, tests, and medications, diagnose patients, and create comprehensive care plans. We are also capable of running code blues and consulting with other specialists as required.

What Other Services Does Alliance TeleCare Provide?
Alliance TeleCare includes a team of providers supported by specialists in cardiology, pulmonology, psychology, neurology, and more. Through our telemedicine platform, we bring these specialists to your hospital. Alternatively, your in-network specialists can use our technology to care for patients remotely, providing faster and more cost-effective treatment.

How Often Can Our Nurses Call Alliance TeleCare?
Your nursing staff can call Alliance TeleCare’s virtual providers as often as needed during our on-call shifts. We do not limit the number of calls per shift or per patient. Our priority is to provide top-notch medical care, no matter how long it takes.
